Context / scope of project :
Our client was a vertically integrated
manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of apparel,
sporting goods, beds and flooring. In a dip in the
retail cycle, our client asked us to assist them to
identify savings in their overhead costs (excluding
procurement).
Client achieved:

$18m of cost reduction opportunities were
approved by the management team across HR, SHEQ (Safety Health Environment &
Quality), Finance, Discretionary Spend (travel, telephony, consulting, postage &
courier etc), Shipping and General Management.

Adoption of a formal Property Policy to minimise the cost impact
of future office relocations.
